Use the Extrapolated Worldwide Coverage dashboard to do the following:
- View 10-year forecasts of the total prevalent cases for all 171 countries, stratified by region and World Bank income status.
- Aggregate country-level estimates into region-level estimates, according to user preference or as required by regulators for orphan drug designations.
- Visualize global correlations between disease risk or patient population size and key indicators of market opportunity such as GDP per capita and healthcare spend per capita.
- Generate and export global heat maps of disease risk or patient population size.

Mariah Hamalainen, M.P.H., Epidemiologist, Epidemiology. Prior to joining Clarivate, Ms. Hamalainen earned her master’s degree in public health epidemiology from Florida International University, where she also worked as a graduate research assistant on an HIV testing and counseling study. She also completed two federally funded public health internships on data analysis and epidemiology. Her areas of interest are infectious diseases and women’s health.
Jackie Liu, M.P.H., Ph.D., Manager, Epidemiology. She first joined Clarivate as a Medtech analyst and worked on forecasting the global vascular devices market. She received her Ph.D. in molecular genetics and her M.P.H. in epidemiology from the University of Toronto in Canada.
