In July 2019, Amgen’s Kanjinti (trastuzumab biosimilar) and Mvasi (bevacizumab biosimilar) were the first monoclonal antibody (MAb) biosimilars launched in the United States. Between mid-2018 and early-2019, trastuzumab biosimilars (Herzuma, Ontruzant, Kanjinti, Trazimera, and Ogivri)  expanded the biosimilar sector of the European oncology market. Uptake of these MAb biosimilars and biosimilars of granulocyte colony-stimulating factor (G-CSF) and erythropoiesis-stimulating agent (ESA) biosimilars will depend on the prescribing behavior of oncologists.
