Grants Index: New ‘quick filter’ for Associated publications
Many of the grant records in the Grants Index are linked to ‘associated publication’ in the Web of Science Core Collection. A new ‘quick filter’ in the refine panel lets you limit any set of search results to just those grants that are linked to publications in WoS Core Collection.
WoS Core Collection: Refine results by ‘final publication year’
A new option the Publication Year refine panel in WoS Core Collection lets you toggle the refine option so that you can refine using ‘final publication year’ only. By default, both Refine by Publication Year and Analyze Results by Publication year will include both ‘early access year’ and ‘final publication year’. When an item has both an ‘early access year’ and a ‘final publication year,’ and if the ‘early access year’ is different than the ‘final publication year.’ then the ‘early access year’ takes precedence when refining or analyzing results by ‘Publication Year’. In this release we’ve added a new feature that lets you toggle to use only the ‘final publication year’ when you Refine by Publication Year. We’ve also added ‘Final Publication Year’ as a sperate option in Analyze Results. Keep mind that when you refine or analyze by ‘Final Publication Year,’ you will exclude any items that only have an ‘early access year’.
Marked List enhancement
Based on feedback from Web of Science users, ‘My Marked Lists’ will now be the default tab when signed in. This update aims to offer direct access to records added to the Marked List, enhancing the overall user experience.
