Data Correction form is migrating to Web of Science Application; QR code for sharing your researcher CV

Data Correction Request form is migrating to the Web of Science Application.

To simplify the Data Correction Request workflow and improve the timeliness of managing data correction requests, the Data Correction Request form is migrating from the open web to within the Web of Science application. User’s submitting data correction request will be required to Regsiter/Sign In to the Web of Science in order to submit a data change request.

Users will continue to be able to submit corrections for single articles and report missing articles for any index on the Web of Science platform, and they can download a form that can be used to submit multiple requests at one time.

  • Start the data correction request process form the footer of the Web of Science, or from any full record.

  • After signing in, choose the type of correction you’d like to submit.

  • Users submitting correction request will continue to receive and email confirmation of their request.

Researcher Profile CV sharing via QR code

Users with a Web of Science Researcher Profile can now export their CV in a PDF format via QR code scanning.

On the “Export your profile” page, select the “Export full profile” option.

Clicking on the “Share via QR code” button will generate a QR code that is unique to the user.

Scanning the code will open the scanning device’s default browser, displaying the PDF which can then be downloaded or opened with another application.

Please note, the “Re-generate CV” button will refresh the PDF file, while the QR code will remain unchanged. As with all export option, CV generation may take a minute, during which a spinning icon is displayed.
