Clarivate wins legal innovation award

Clarivate today announced it has won the Outstanding Legal Operations category at the prestigious 2021 Legal Innovation Awards, run by Law.com and Legal Week.

The new Clarivate Connect – IP Collaboration Platform, which simplifies transactions and workflow across the Intellectual Property industry, was recognized for a recent landmark implementation.

Every day, tens of thousands of instructions are sent across the world of IP. These lead to questions, further instructions, sending of documents, forwarded communications, invoices and payments. However, collaboration is complex, burdensome, often confusing and costly to manage.

“With more data and IP assets to manage than ever before, process friction and decision-making have become major challenges for IP professionals. Clarivate is delighted to win this award recognizing our new solution, paving the way for a globally connected and highly efficient future for the IP industry.”

Jeff Roy, President of the IP Group at Clarivate

The IP Collaboration Platform enables:

  • networks of agents and service providers to communicate within a structured environment in which instructions, data, tasks, fees, invoices and payments are linked.
  • sending instructions instantly from an IP management system and tracking progress without email. All events in the structured processes are docketed automatically. Invoicing is done in a timely manner (sent and received), detailed and clear, bundled and in a single currency, always correct, no need to match and control, and paid on time.
  • productivity gains, simplified operations, cost savings and reduced risk for all members of the network.
