Esheeta Mangalpara, Deputy Executive Editor, Web of Science
Esheeta’s responsibilities include management of the Web of Science editors to ensure consistent application of editorial policies, as well as managing workloads and priorities across the global editorial team.
Esheeta joined Clarivate Analytics in 2020 as Deputy Executive Editor of Web of Science. Prior to joining Clarivate Analytics, Esheeta was the Peer Review Process Manager of multidisciplinary open access journal Scientific Reports and the BMC Series of open access journals at Springer Nature.
Esheeta also held several other Editorial Operations roles in her 6 years at Springer Nature, leading strategic editorial and technology projects to optimise processes and implement new policies, primarily for journals within the Medical and Life Sciences portfolio, as well as the Physical Sciences, Mathematics and Engineering portfolio.
Esheeta has a BSc in Biomedical Sciences from Brunel University London and completed a Continuing Professional Development programme in Biomedical Sciences at Aston University.
