Dr Nandita Quaderi, Senior Vice President, Clarivate & Editor-in-Chief, Web of Science

Nandita has oversight of the Web of Science editorial division, the Institute for Scientific Information (ISI) and the Research Professional News team. She has overall responsibility for editorial strategy, selection of Web of Science content and inclusion in Journal Citation Reports (JCR).

Prior to joining Clarivate in 2018, Nandita was Publishing Director for Open Research at Springer Nature where she was responsible for the portfolio of open access Nature Portfolio journals. Before this, she was Editorial Director at BMC, a pioneer in open access publishing.

Before joining the STM publishing sector, Nandita was a Principal Investigator at the MRC Centre for Developmental Neurobiology at King’s College London. She joined King’s after completing a post-doctoral fellowship at the Telethon Institute for Genetics and Medicine (TIGEM) in Milan, where she discovered the gene for Opitz Syndrome. Nandita has a BA in Chemistry from the University of Oxford and a PhD in Molecular Genetics from Imperial College, London.
