Roughly 70 percent of CareSource members are enrolled in Ohio's Medicaid program. But CareSource has been building its business as a regional Medicaid MCO, branching into Medicare Advantage plans and the ACA Individual exchanges in recent years. The health plan offers on-exchange individual and family plans in Ohio, Indiana, Kentucky, Georgia, and West Virginia. The health plan operates a Medicare Advantage HMO in parts of Georgia, Indiana, Kentucky, and Ohio, with MA dual eligible SNPs in Ohio and Indiana. CareSource entered Arkansas as part of a provider-led care program serving Arkansas residents with complex behavioral health, developmental and intellectual disabilities beginning in 2022.
