Expanded POCA Coverage for Pharmaceutical Searches
We have expanded our Phonetic and Orthographic Similarity Analysis (POCA) coverage to include the European Medicines Agency’s (EMA) Article 57 database, providing coverage of all drug names nationally or centrally authorized in the European Economic Area. The EMA searches the Article 57 database when conducting new drug name submissions. Adding Article 57 as a POCA source for proposed European drug names reduces the likelihood of refusal by the EMA when evaluating your marks.
New Custom Alert configurability for your Watch email alerts
Earlier this year, we released new configurability for Automated Alerts. Now, you have the option to create custom Watch email alerts at the individual order through ‘My Custom Alerts’. With Custom Alerts, you can:
- Add or delete watched marks from a custom alert
- Include or exclude Hit Overview
- Copy a custom alert to easily duplicate an alert for different recipients or for different watched marks
- Copy and paste a single or all recipients
Improved Email Alerts
Watch hits from a subset of products will now be aggregated into one email versus separate emails for each result, reducing the overall number of emails you will receive. Impacted products include (1) International Business Name Watch, (2) Mobile Watch, (3) ccTLD Domain Watch, (4) Non-Latin Character Watch and (5) Italy Company Name Watch.
