Michael Easton
Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer
Michael Easton is Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer at Clarivate. In this role, he leads the company’s global finance organization and is responsible for advancing Clarivate’s strategic priorities, including accelerating growth, improving profitability, strengthening free cash flow generation and supporting disciplined capital allocation.
Michael brings more than 25 years of experience in finance, accounting and operations. Prior to becoming Chief Financial Officer, he served as Senior Vice President and Chief Accounting Officer at Clarivate.
Before joining Clarivate, Michael served as Senior Vice President and Chief Accounting Officer at IHS Markit, where he led global accounting, financial reporting and finance operations. He previously served as Senior Vice President, Financial Planning and Analysis at IHS Inc., overseeing corporate FP&A as well as finance teams across the Americas, Europe and Asia.
Earlier in his career, Michael spent more than 14 years with Ernst & Young in assurance services. Michael holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in accounting from Brigham Young University and is a Certified Public Accountant.
