Simon Webster joined Clarivate as President, Intellectual Property in June 2026.
Simon has a strong track record of scaling data, software and services businesses and delivering value creation in private equity-backed environments.
He brings deep experience in intellectual property and corporate services, including more than 20 years at CPA Global, where he helped build the business into the market-leading IP platform and led its successful sale to Clarivate. As Group CEO, he drove sustained growth and led major acquisitions and transformations.
Most recently, Simon served as Group CEO of Vistra. He defined the combined group’s strategy and positioning and led its transformation into a modern, technology-enabled business serving more than 300,000 clients worldwide.
Simon is known for leading complex integrations, driving growth across global markets, and building high-performing, purpose-led organizations. His experience spans large-scale transformation, M&A and the development of data and technology platforms that support professional services and enterprise customers.
He is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants and has completed executive education at Harvard Business School and INSEAD.
