There are limited treatment options for patients with advanced/metastatic, triple-negative breast cancer because commonly used treatments in other breast cancer segments (i.e., hormonal therapies and HER2-targeted therapies) are ineffective in this disease subset. Hence, a high unmet need exists for efficacious targeted therapies for this patient population.
