No disease-modifying therapies (DMTs) are approved for nonrelapsing, progressive forms of MS, which comprise the majority of chronic progressive multiple sclerosis (CP-MS) patients. Current treatment relies heavily on off-label use of products approved for the treatment of relapsing forms of MS, or anti-inflammatory agents that are not approved at all for MS.
