Schizophrenia is a chronic and disabling psychiatric condition that affects approximately 1.8 million Americans. Patients with schizophrenia can present with a range of symptoms that are categorized into one of the three symptom domains: positive symptoms (e.g., hallucination, psychosis), negative symptoms (e.g., social withdrawal, apathy, anhedonia), and CIAS (e.g., loss of verbal fluency, memory, attention).
