Gout is a chronic condition characterized by intermittent acute flares caused by elevated serum uric acid ( sUA ). Gout Treatment Algorithms presents urate-lowering therapy prescribing patterns and provides insights into the uptake of novel branded agents against the background of generic allopurinol dominance.
