10月9日下午，2024年諾貝爾化學獎揭曉。美國科學家大衛·貝克 （David Baker） 獲獎，「以表彰其在計算蛋白質設計方面的貢獻」；另一半則共同授予英國科學家德米斯·哈薩比斯（ Demis Hassabis） 和美國科學家約翰·江珀（John M. Jumper），「以表彰其在蛋白質結構預測方面的貢獻」。這三位獲獎者均於今年9月剛剛榮獲2024年度科睿唯安「引文桂冠獎」（Citation Laureates）。

David Baker，美國生物化學家、計算生物學家，華盛頓大學教授。1989年獲得加州大學伯克利分校博士學位。
Demis Hassabis，穀歌 Google DeepMind創始人兼首席執行官。英國皇家學會院士。2009年獲得倫敦大學學院博士學位。
John M. Jumper，穀歌 Google DeepMind高級研究科學家。2017年獲得芝加哥大學博士學位。
