Reimagining digital collections for the next generation of library users
Speakers
Librarians are the unparalleled resource for collections that serve their communities in unique ways. From the research archives of a professor to digital collections donated by an alum to robust collections developed over decades to serve the needs of faculty and students. The challenge isn’t finding collections to showcase, it’s making them discoverable and accessible for a generation used to instant, precision gratification.
Libraries around the world are putting technology to work to meet that challenge, ensuring their rich, unique collections can be found, used and enjoyed, now and in the future.
Watch this on demand webinar and can hear from Mary Saffell Director of Special Collections (Texas Christian University) and Dr Misu Kim, Assistant Library Director for Technical Services (The University of Texas at Dallas) about how their institutions are developing digital collection experiences with Alma Specto.
