Graduate students pave career paths with more funding opportunities

UNC Charlotte and the University of Michigan are jumpstarting careers with more funding access

Even for those with partial funding from their institution, the typical path forward for graduate students is heavily dependent on their ability to independently identify research funding, collaborators and publishing opportunities. However, locating the right funding sources for a specific research proposal or project is very challenging, applications are time-consuming, and especially competitive for inexperienced grad students. The University of North Carolina, Charlotte and the University of Michigan both took steps to deliver configured Pivot-RP links and searches directly to the students.
