On Tuesday, November 19th, the Web of Science Group will reveal the annual list of Highly Cited Researchers for 2019, curated by our colleagues at the Institute for Scientific Information.

Since 2002, our list has identified global research scientists and social scientists who have demonstrated exceptional influence – reflected through their publication of multiple papers frequently cited by their peers during the last decade. We’re pleased to say that researchers from your institution are among those who will be celebrated this year.

Researchers across the world eagerly anticipate the launch of the Highly Cited Researchers list each year and hundreds of universities also celebrate the inclusion of their own researchers on the list.

This year we invite you to a webinar exclusively for press offices and communications departments where we will highlight:

  • What does it mean to be a Highly Cited Researcher and why does it matter to your institution?
  • How do the researcher affiliations in the HCR list relate to the Annual Ranking of World Universities (ARWU) by the Shanghai Ranking Consultancy?
  • What written and promotional materials are available to universities and research institutes to help thempromote their own researchers?
  • How did universities across the globe highlight their inclusion in the 2018 list?
  • What’s new for 2019?
