New WOS September 1 Release Notes

Journal Citation Indicator added, FSTA Keywords added to panoramic record view, added export to Excel to more databases

Journal Citation Indicator from Journal Citation Reports

We are now providing more metrics to help you evaluate journals. In addition to the Journal Impact Factor, all Web of Science Core Collection subscribers can now view a journal’s JCI (Journal Citation Indicator) from the last 2 available years. If your organization subscribes to Journal Citation Reports, you will be able to view the specific rank and quartile in each category.

To access this information, simply click on the Journal title from the search results page or full record.

FSTA Keywords are now included in the “panoramic” article view

We continue to make it easier to access all information about articles indexed in many collections by expanding the panoramic article view.

In this release, we have added FSTA Keywords to the record when viewing the panoramic article view in All Database and Web of Science Core Collection if you have access to FSTA – the food science resource.

BIOSIS Citation Index, Biological Abstracts, and BIOSIS Previews export to Excel

You can now export to Excel in BCI, BA, and BP.

Thank you for your support and feedback. Together we will bring a better Web of Science to all.
