De Gruyter Open now offering ScholarOne manuscripts to publishers

De Gruyter is a leading publisher of open access content, with over 435 OA journals (out of more than 800) and 900 books across all major academic disciplines. As part of a new partnership, De Gruyter will offer ScholarOne Manuscripts as a peer review and manuscript submission system for its publishing partners.

This new offer comes after increased demand from societies and universities to simplify peer review management and submission. De Gruyter publishing partners now also have access to Reviewer Locator – a feature of ScholarOne Manuscripts – which helps to identify potential reviewers by generating expert lists by comparing manuscript submissions against the Web of Science Core Collection. Finding qualified reviewers is a constant challenge for editors, and this capability allows journals to broaden their reviewer base beyond their known contacts.  As part of this partnership, new journals using the ScholarOne Manuscripts will also be able to receive end-user support in local language.
