- Liechtenstein – New Opposition Period Introduced
Liechtenstein has adopted a new Trademark Law introducing a three-month opposition period. This new law will apply to all applications filed on or after January 1, 2023. The opposition period begins as of the publication of the registration in the online database of the PTO. Please note that you may still receive Liechtenstein watch notices without an opposition date for the registrations filed under the previous law.
