Ohio | 2022 | Health Plan Analysis (Event Driven)

Ohio Medicaid will end its current pharmacy benefit manager contracts to switch from spread pricing to a pass-through model, and MCO contracts went into competitive bidding, while CareSource, the state's largest Medicaid MCO, switched PBMs in 2020. Although the insurers with the cheapest exchange plans (like Molina) or expanded options (Anthem offering virtual primary care options) could see some uptake for 2022-2023.
