District of Columbia | 2022 | Health Plan Analysis (Event Driven)

Literally at the epicenter of healthcare reform, the District of Columbia was an early adopter of the Affordable Care Act, and thousands of individuals have selected a health plan through its state-run health exchange, DC Health Link. Commercial enrollment in the District of Columbia has remained flat in recent years, most likely due to expanded Medicaid and plentiful special needs options. More than 200,000 individuals have been determined eligible for Medicaid since the District decided to expand the program.
