Multiple well-established therapies are available to treat Crohn\u2019s disease (CD). In particular, the most widely used biologics\u2014the TNF-\u03b1 inhibitors (e.g., Janssen\/Merck\u2019s Remicade, AbbVie\/Eisai\u2019s Humira)\u2014have helped advance CD treatment, especially for moderate to severe disease, and are now entrenched as first-line biologics. In the past three years, the CD treatment landscape has witnessed the approval of two novel biologics (i.e., Takeda\u2019s Entyvio and Janssen\u2019s Stelara), one stemcell therapy (i.e., TiGenix\/Takeda\u2019s Alofisel), and the launch of several biosimilars of infliximab and adalimumab (e.g., Celltrion\u2019s Remsima, Amgen\u2019s Amgevita), further expanding physicians\u2019 treatment armamentarium. Indeed, the availability of these agents has influenced physicians\u2019 prescribing behavior and will continue to have an impact on the treatment landscape.<\/p>\n
