Systemic glucocorticoids and <abbr title=\"thrombopoietin\">TPO<\/abbr>&#8211;<abbr title=\"receptor agonist\">RA<\/abbr>s are the pillars of clinical management; however, alternative therapies such fostamatinib (Rigel Pharmaceuticals\u2019 <abbr data-abbreviation-entity=\"8265\" title=\"spleen tyrosine kinase\">Syk<\/abbr> inhibitor Tavalisse) and rituximab provide additional options for refractory disease.
