We report both the diagnosed incidence and diagnosed prevalence of <abbr title=\"polycythemia vera\">PV<\/abbr> for each country, as well as annualized case counts projected to the national population.<\/p>\n<p>Most patient populations are forecast over a period of 20 years for the major mature pharmaceutical markets.<\/p>\n<p>Clarivate Epidemiology\u2019s <abbr title=\"polycythemia vera\">PV<\/abbr> forecast will answer the following questions:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"round-bullets\">\n<li>How will changes in the levels of exposure to known risk or protective factors affect the number of people diagnosed with <abbr title=\"polycythemia vera\">PV<\/abbr> per year?<\/li>\n<li>How will demographic trends, such as population aging and improving life expectancy, affect the epidemiology of <abbr title=\"polycythemia vera\">PV<\/abbr> over the forecast period?<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>All forecast data are available on the Clarivate Insights Platform in tabular format, with options to download to <span class=\"abbreviation-guard\">MS<\/span> Excel.
