We report the total prevalence of <abbr title=\"hepatitis B virus\">HBV<\/abbr> infection for each country, as well as annualized case counts projected to the national population.<\/p>\n<p>The patient populations are forecast over a period of 10 years for all countries.<\/p>\n<p>Clarivate Epidemiology\u2019s <abbr title=\"hepatitis B virus\">HBV<\/abbr> infection forecast will answer the following questions:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"round-bullets\">\n<li>How will changes in <abbr title=\"hepatitis B virus\">HBV<\/abbr> vaccine coverage impact the prevalence of <abbr title=\"hepatitis B virus\">HBV<\/abbr> infections?<\/li>\n<li>Of all people infected with <abbr title=\"hepatitis B virus\">HBV<\/abbr>, how many in each country have been formally diagnosed?<\/li>\n<li>Of those diagnosed with <abbr title=\"hepatitis B virus\">HBV<\/abbr> infection, what percentage in each of the major pharmaceutical markets are drug-treated?<\/li>\n<li>How will demographic trends, such as population aging and improving life expectancy, affect the epidemiology of <abbr title=\"hepatitis B virus\">HBV<\/abbr> infection over the forecast period?<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>All forecast data are available on the Clarivate Insights Platform in tabular format, with options to download to <span class=\"abbreviation-guard\">MS <\/span>Excel. All populations are accompanied by a comprehensive description of the methods and data sources used, with hyperlinks to external sources.
