Japan Aviation Electronics Industry designs and produces electronic connectors that are used in everything from Japan’s Shinkansen to miniature video cameras. Its connectors account for the majority of sales, but JAE also makes aerospace components, user interfaces, and optical devices, with sales and manufacturing operations throughout Asia, Europe and the U.S.. Its devices are used in automotive, aviation, communications, consumer, industrial and medical electronics, such as flat panel displays, jumper cables, motion sensors, cell phones, notebook PCs, robotics, semiconductors, oil drilling tools and ultrasound machines.
