Benno has a graduate degree as a Librarian from The Royal School of Library & Information Science in Copenhagen, Denmark. During his career he has continuously extended his theoretical foundation by completing numerous
professional development courses. Benno is an experienced patent information expert who joined the company in 2002. He now specializes in patent research tools and analysis of patent information and leads the European patent expert team.

Laura is a registered US patent attorney and is a member of the Minnesota Bar. Laura earned her B.S. from the College of Biological Sciences at the University of Minnesota, and graduated magna cum laude from William Mitchell College of Law. Prior to joining Clarivate Analytics, Laura gained corporate industry experience in pharmaceutical regulatory compliance and patent licensing.

Jerry holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Virginia Tech, an M.S. in Engineering Management and PhD in Systems Engineering from the George Washington University. He is a former USPTO patent examiner and patent engineer. Jerry is experienced in designing, testing, and evaluating commercial and governmental IP examination, docketing, searching, and documentation platforms. He has specialized in pharmaceutical, military, and automotive industries, and has executed patent searching in the fields of electrical, mechanical, physics, computer science, and business methods.

Elena joined Clarivate Analytics in 2008 as a Customer Support and Solution Consultant with the Trademarks division, CompuMark, working with Italian clients. Elena has a degree in Forest and Environmental Sciences and concentrated on languages. She is fluent in Italian, English and French.

Thierry joined Clarivate Analytics in 2006 as an Account Manager, IP Solutions working with clients across 15 European countries. Thierry holds a BA degree in International Business and is fluent in French, English, Spanish and basic Italian. He is completing a program of Professional Experience Validation, at the University of Nice, in order to validate specific field experience from his sales career. Prior to joining Clarivate Analytics in 2006, Thierry was a Key Account Manager for a world-leading provider of information solutions.

Brian has a first class honors chemistry degree from University of Newcastle upon Tyne. He joined the company in 1988 as a patent analyst working in the chemistry and pharmaceutical areas working on the Derwent World Patent Index (DWPI) database. He is an expert on this database as well as having extensive knowledge of patent information in general.

Chantal earned her Master’s in Economics, Sales and Marketing from the German-French University DFHI/ISFATES (University of Saarbrücken, Germany and University of Metz, France), and a diploma (DESS) in International Relations from Strasbourg University. Prior to joining the company, she worked in the IP world at several companies in various sales Account Management and training roles. Coming from the Alsace region of France, bordering Germany, Chantal is bilingual French and German, and also speaks fluent Spanish.
