Kate Kuhrt appointed to CPhI Advisory Board

PHILADELPHIA, May 9, 2017 – CPhI Worldwide, organized by UBM EMEA, and recognized as the world’s largest pharmaceutical trade show, has appointed Kate Kuhrt, Head of Go To Market for Life Sciences at Clarivate Analytics, to its Advisory Board.

Kuhrt is a prominent industry analyst and leading authority on the global active pharmaceutical ingredient (API) and generics markets, with extensive knowledge in pharmaceutical product launches. With over two decades of experience covering the industry she is an active speaker and adviser to some of the world’s largest pharmaceutical companies. Her specialties include emerging biopharma segments and rapid growth markets.

In her current role as the head of GTM for the Clarivate Analytics Life Sciences division, Kuhrt works with teams from across the business to bring new solutions to market. Her work covers the entire life sciences product life cycle, ranging from drug discovery and translational research all the way to manufacturing, compliance and generics.

Over the past decade, Kuhrt has published a number of articles discussing the challenges and opportunities facing the global generics, biosimilars and active ingredient manufacturing industries in different parts of the world, and continues to present at conferences about developments in the generics and API space.

The CPhI Advisory Board serves to contribute to the development of the global event portfolio and support its brands to improve the CPhI Worldwide event experience for both exhibitors and visitors. Comprised of 12 experienced and highly respected industry professionals with representation across the pharma value chain, members will also help identify hot topics, future opportunities, develop content and navigate improvements for CPhI Worldwide. CPhI Worldwide will take place in Frankfurt, Germany from October 24-26, 2017, at the Messe Frankfurt.
