Being at the forefront of research and innovation, we are constantly aware of the groundbreaking academic strides made on the African continent. This month we would like to showcase and celebrate the enduring contribution that African women have made to science and the tenacity they have brought to expanding the boundaries of human knowledge.
This National Women’s Day, 9th August, we at Clarivate Analytics want to take a moment to admire some phenomenal women in Research. Using 1InCites Benchmarking & Analytics and 2Highly Cited Papers categorised by 3Incites Essential Science Indicators fields, we have identified female authors who are among those with Highly Cited Papers between 2007 and 2016 within their respective fields:
