PHILADELPHIA, December 15th, 2017 – Clarivate Analytics, the global leader in providing trusted insights and analytics to accelerate the pace of innovation and commercialize ideas, announced today that Mike Morhardt has joined the company as Head of Global Sales.
In this role, Morhardt is responsible for leading the sales strategy and direction of 700+ sales staff around the globe supporting the Life Sciences, CompuMark, Intellectual Property & Standards, and Scientific and Academic Research business units of Clarivate Analytics. He will be based in Boston, where he will report to Robert Lemmond, Chief Commercial Officer.
Prior to joining Clarivate Analytics, Morhardt served as Chief Sales Officer at influential research and advisory firm, Forrester Research for four and a half years. During this time he led the successful transformation of a 500 person global sales organization while revamping the entire go-to-market approach. Morhardt has also served as Managing Director of North American Financial Services Sales at Gerson Lehrman Group. In his early career Morhardt ascended to numerous sales leadership positions at research and data company, Gartner, ultimately becoming the Group Vice President of Americas Sales.
