Just over a year ago, we welcomed CPA Global to Clarivate. Since then, we have been working diligently to unlock the full potential of IP by removing friction and helping customers make better decisions, so they can innovate faster, protect and manage IP, and reduce total costs of operating.
We’re incredibly excited about this next step in our union which is all part of our plan to continuously improve our support and services for you. In fact, since the union of Clarivate and CPA Global, we have been able to support many customers with solutions across the entire IP lifecycle.
We have reached an important milestone in bringing together our two organizations: We now begin the process of uniting under the Clarivate brand.

The union with CPA Global has accelerated the Clarivate strategy to be a leading global provider of information and insights to drive innovation. Together, CPA Global and Clarivate form a true end-to-end solution that covers the entire innovation and IP lifecycle – from scientific and academic research to IP portfolio management and protection.
Clarivate is now offering thousands of law firms and corporate customers world class IP solutions from leading brands covering patent and trademark research solutions, expanded IP services capabilities, IP management and renewal solutions and domain management, all underpinned by extensive human expertise, unparalleled data and powerful technology.
Our continuing investment in artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) supports the industry’s ever-growing need to engage customers in new ways, offering them seamless access to richer content and broader capabilities as they execute on their innovation and IP strategies.
Our mission is to help customers solve some of the world’s most complex problems and reduce the time from new ideas to life-changing inventions and treatments. The next step of migrating the CPA Global brand to Clarivate supports our mission, enabling users to benefit from more integrated solutions and an ever more unified and consistent experience.
How does this impact you, our valued customer?
You will start to see the CPA Global brand less and less, such as on our website, in emails, and on social media. While you might continue to see the CPA Global brand in some of our assets, communications and products, it will be replaced increasingly by the Clarivate brand. If you are subscribed to our emails, you will receive an email in the coming days from Clarivate, welcoming you to our newsletters, webinar invitations and industry thought leadership.
There will be no impact on how you access and use your products, or how you collaborate with your service partners. We remain committed to investing in the solutions you rely on.
Please be assured that this does not change the contracts you have with CPA Global, and the legal entity will stay the same.
What will happen next?
While our products and services remain the same, there might be small name changes and enhancements over the next several months in 2022.
