Pledging our commitment to diversity and inclusion

Clarivate signs the CEO Action for Diversity & Inclusion™, the largest CEO-driven business commitment to advance diversity and inclusion in the workplace.

Today we celebrate World Day for Cultural Diversity – a day that acknowledges the value of diversity – a source of identity, innovation and creativity for all.

At Clarivate, we embrace an unwavering commitment to diversity and inclusion. These principles are integral to our core values and Sustainability@Clarivate. We strive to empower all colleagues to thrive and reach their full potential by fostering an environment where our unique differences are celebrated and each of us feels welcome and supported. Through colleague resource groups like Women@Clarivate and Spectrum, we support all colleagues while striving to eliminate boundaries created by ethnicity, gender or orientation.

We’re proud to take our commitment a step further by signing the CEO Action for Diversity & Inclusion™, the largest CEO-driven business commitment to advance diversity and inclusion in the workplace. This commitment is driven by a realization that addressing diversity and inclusion is not a competitive issue, but a societal issue where CEOs can play a critical role in driving change.

Acting on the pledge to drive meaningful action

As part of our commitment, we pledge to cultivate a workplace where diverse perspectives and experiences are welcomed and respected and where employees feel comfortable and encouraged to discuss diversity and inclusion.

Among other actions, we will accomplish these goals by implementing four key actions within Clarivate:

  1. Encourage and engage in regular, open dialogue on complex, and sometimes difficult, conversations about diversity and inclusion
  2. Implement and expand unconscious bias education
  3. Share best known—and unsuccessful—actions
  4. Create and share strategic inclusion and diversity plans with our colleagues and our board of directors

Our colleagues around the world are also making individual I Act On pledges, committing themselves to mitigating any unconscious biases and driving more inclusive behaviors in their personal and professional lives.

By working together toward diversity and inclusion within our workplace and the broader business community, we are committed to cultivating meaningful change for our society.
