This year we are pleased to present the Clarivate Award for Communicating Zoology to Highly Cited Researcher\u2122 <a href=\"https:\/\/publons.com\/researcher\/1400955\/david-goulson\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Dave Goulson<\/a> for his book, <em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.penguin.co.uk\/books\/111\/1117058\/the-garden-jungle\/9781784709914.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">The Garden Jungle<\/a><\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Professor Goulson, who teaches biology at the <a href=\"https:\/\/profiles.sussex.ac.uk\/p126217-dave-goulson\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">University of Sussex<\/a>, uses his guide to green gardening to reconnect his readers with the wildlife in gardens and parks. <em>The Garden Jungle<\/em> illustrates how small changes can have a big impact on the planet: we are invited to see our gardens as rich habitats and to follow simple advice (from digging ponds to planting a variety of flowers) to improve wildlife and reverse dangerous trends like climate change.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright wp-image-65963\" style=\"padding-left: 20px;\" src=\"http:\/\/clarivate.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2020\/11\/thegardenjungle.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"220\" height=\"165\" \/><\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"blockquote\">\n<p class=\"mb-0\">\u201cThe Garden Jungle illustrates how small changes can have a big impact on the planet.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The Clarivate Award for Communicating Zoology is only presented to authors and filmmakers who publish their work during the year of the announcement.<\/p>\n<p><em>Discover more about the <\/em><a href=\"https:\/\/clarivate.com\/webofsciencegroup\/article\/clarivate-analytics-zoological-society-london-honor-bbc-ocean-documentary-blue-planet-ii\/\"><em>history of the award and it previous winners<\/em><\/a><em>.
