Included in this update are the latest New Hot Papers, which are papers published in the past two years that are in the top one-tenth of one percent (0.1%) for their field and publication period.<\/p>\n<p>For the sixth bimonthly update, which was published in January and covers 1 January 2006-31 December 2016, there were a total of 2,828 Hot Papers.
