{"id":5064,"date":"2016-12-12T14:14:53","date_gmt":"2016-12-12T14:14:53","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/clarivate.com\/?p=5064"},"modified":"2016-12-12T14:14:53","modified_gmt":"2016-12-12T14:14:53","slug":"fast-breaking-papers-december-edition","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/clarivate.com\/academia-government\/blog\/fast-breaking-papers-december-edition\/","title":{"rendered":"Fast-Breaking Papers December Edition"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><em>Essential Science Indicators<\/em><sup>SM<\/sup>\u00a0(ESI) from Clarivate Analytics lists Highly Cited Papers in\u00a022 broad fields\u00a0of science. These papers constitute the top 1% of papers in each field and each year. The lists are updated every two months to reflect their current citation counts and also include new papers that enter the top percentile.<\/p>\n<p><em>Here, we<\/em> identify a subset of these papers having the largest percentage increase in citations in their respective fields from one bimonthly update to the next.
