After each update, we look at New Hot Papers, which are papers published in the past two years that are in the top one-tenth of one percent (0.1%) for their field and publication period.<\/p>\n<p>For the fourth bimonthly update of 2017, which was published in November and covers 1 January 2007-31 August 2017, we identified a total of 2,969 Hot Papers.
