Check out the Reuters Top 100 Most Innovative European Universities

Last year, Reuters published the World’s Most Innovative Universities, a ranking that was created using data from InCites™, the premier benchmarking tool from the Thomson Reuters IP & Science business.   These rankings were created to showcase the universities throughout the world that produce significant research output alongside quantifiable and promising applications as shown by patenting activity.

Now, Reuters is launching a series of regional rankings, starting with Europe and the Top 100 Most Innovative European Universities. This ranking has been produced using a mix of bibliometric indicators from InCites and patent indicators from Derwent World Patents Index and Derwent Innovations Index – also from the IP & Science business.

For a more in-depth look at the creation of these rankings, see our article on State of Innovation. For the rankings themselves, see here.

Rankings of innovative universities in Asia will be coming later this year.
